Mumbai: In a significant move for global cinema, US-based Red Bison Productions has joined hands with Mumbai-based Azure Entertainment to produce an untitled Indo-Hollywood project. The collaboration is being seen as more than just a film—it signals the beginning of a new era in Indo-US storytelling.
The film, written and directed by Harsh Mahadeshwar, revolves around an immigrant family navigating life beyond the conventional “American Dream.” The narrative explores themes of identity, belonging, roots, and emotional resilience, blending cinematic scale with intimate storytelling. Shot across international and Indian locations, the project aims to transcend borders while keeping human emotions at its core.
For the first time, acclaimed actors Mohit Raina and Priyamani will share screen space. Both are known for their powerful performances, and their pairing has generated excitement among fans and industry insiders alike. Filming is scheduled to begin in April 2026, with key portions to be shot in New York and New Jersey, along with Delhi and Jammu & Kashmir, giving the story a visually rich global canvas.
Mohit Raina described the project as deeply personal. “This story is very close to my heart. Exploring themes like identity and belonging with honesty is the film’s greatest strength. Being part of the first Indo-Hollywood venture between Red Bison Productions and Azure Entertainment is truly an honor,” he said.

Priyamani echoed the sentiment, emphasizing the film’s emotional authenticity. “The emotional truth of this script immediately drew me in. There is passion and sensitivity behind every creative decision. I believe this story will resonate with audiences across the world,” she shared.
Romila Saraf Bhatt, founder of Red Bison Productions, stated that the story demanded a global voice from the outset. She noted that with talents like Priyamani and Mohit Raina onboard, the team aims to create a film that is both deeply personal and universally relatable.
Prashant Ramesh Mishra, CEO of Azure Entertainment, called the collaboration a turning point for the company, underscoring its commitment to building meaningful cross-cultural narratives.
With production set to commence in April 2026, the film marks a promising step toward strengthening creative ties between India and the United States. As Indo-Hollywood collaborations continue to gain momentum, this project is poised to open an exciting new chapter in global cinema.
