Lucknow: Under the ongoing Mission Shakti 5.0 – “Nari Suraksha, Nari Samman, Mission Shakti Hai Mahan”, the Rahimabad Police organized an important awareness programme at the Primary School premises of Gram Sabha Bahir Majra Bagwara, aiming to educate women about safety, legal rights, and support systems.
Mission Shakti 5.0 is a statewide initiative promoting women’s empowerment and creating a safe, respectful, and equitable society. In Lucknow Commissionerate, under the direction of Police Commissioner Amrendra Kumar Sengar, Mission Shakti Centres have been established at 54 police stations, each staffed with dedicated officers to ensure quick resolution of women’s grievances.
The programme was organised with the support of Gram Pradhan Mohammed Anis, and attended by around 50-60 women, children, and men.

* Government schemes for women’s welfare
* Dangers of digital arrest scams, importance of not sharing OTP, and safe online payment practices
Women were also educated on key legal protections:
* Dowry Prohibition Act
* Domestic Violence Act
* Child Marriage Prohibition Act
* Workplace Sexual Harassment Act
