Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Fisheries Development Minister Dr. Sanjay Nishad inspected UP Fisheries Development Corporation Ltd. located in Gomtinagar Lucknow. On this occasion, he instructed the officials to increase the fish seed. Adopt a business approach to increase fish production.
This will increase the income of farmers. Incentive allowance should be given to the personnel doing good work. Anomalies of the committees should be removed. Speed up the recruitment process of employees, their pending dearness allowance should be paid on time.
Production should be increased by adopting cage culture. New technology should be adopted for fish production. Budget should be allocated for publicity in the corporation.
The Fisheries Development Minister also got acquainted with the employees working in the Fisheries Development Corporation and took information about various posts. Recruitment process should be started in relation to the vacant posts in the corporation.
The officials gave information to the minister about the availability of fish seed, GPF and pension, vehicles, information about aquarium shops and pending files, condition of reservoir, regulation etc. He said that manpower should be recruited as per the hatchery/area.
Instructions were given to the officers to ensure quality fish production and to remove discrepancies in the committees.
On this occasion, Chairman UP Fisheries Development Corporation Ramakant Nishad along with departmental officers were present.
