Lucknow: As part of ongoing efforts to enhance security and maintain law and order, the Central Zone Police of Lucknow Commissionerate launched a checking drive in the Cantonment (Cantt) area.
The operation was carried out at the busy Loko Chauraha under the jurisdiction of the Cantt Police Station. Senior officials including ADCP Central Manisha Singh, ACP Cantt Abhay Pratap Mall, and Cantt SHO Gurpreet were present at the spot with their police force.
The checking drive focused on monitoring suspicious activity, verifying vehicle documents, and reinforcing a visible police presence in the area. The initiative is aimed at deterring criminal elements and ensuring the safety of residents and commuters.
Officials stated that such drives will continue as part of a broader strategy to uphold public safety across sensitive and high-traffic zones in the city.
