Lucknow: The second edition of the Metaphor Reading Circle was hosted on Saturday, drawing an engaging panel of speakers who explored the thought-provoking theme “What Freedom Means.”
The session brought together diverse voices including Yashasvi Saraff, Head Girl of La Martiniere Girls’ College and a young researcher-musician; Dr. Himanshu Bajpai, renowned dastango and author; Prem Mishra, senior journalist with Navbharat Times; Carlyle McFarland, former Principal of La Martiniere College; Iffat Khan, founder of Aadaab Arz Lucknow; and Amar Nath Mishra, educator and co-founder of Karmasu.in.
Each speaker interpreted freedom through the prism of their own life and work—whether in education, storytelling, journalism, cultural preservation, youth leadership, or technology—offering the audience fresh insights into its personal and collective significance.

The gathering served as a reminder of the power of dialogue and intellectual exchange, reinforcing Metaphor Lucknow Litfest’s vision to Read, Reflect, and Revive.
