Meeting Held to Review Arrangements for Army Recruitment Rally 2025–26 under Agnipath Scheme in Bareilly

Bareilly: A review meeting regarding the arrangements for the upcoming Army recruitment rally under the Agnipath Scheme was held at the Collectorate auditorium under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Avinash Singh.

During the meeting, Army officials informed that the recruitment rally for 2025–26 will be conducted at the Jat Regimental Centre from March 11 to March 23, 2026. Thousands of candidates from 12 districts of Uttar Pradesh—including Bareilly, Bahraich, Balrampur, Shrawasti, Lakhimpur Kheri, Shahjahanpur, Sitapur, Sambhal, Pilibhit, Hardoi, Farrukhabad, and Budaun—are expected to participate.

According to the announced schedule, Agniveer (Technical) recruitment for candidates from all 12 districts will be held on March 11, followed by Agniveer (Tradesman – 8th and 10th pass) and Agniveer (Clerk/SKT) on March 12.

The Agniveer (General Duty) rallies will be conducted district-wise:

  • March 13: Candidates from Bahraich, Balrampur, Shrawasti, and Lakhimpur Kheri

  • March 14: Candidates from Shahjahanpur and Sitapur

  • March 15: Candidates from Sambhal and Pilibhit

  • March 16: Candidates from Hardoi

  • March 17: Candidates from Farrukhabad

  • March 18: Candidates from Budaun

  • March 19: Candidates from Bareilly

The running test will begin at 6:00 AM on March 11. The Director of the Army Recruiting Office urged candidates to download and carry their admit cards along with all necessary documents. Those facing issues in downloading their admit cards from their registered email IDs can contact the Army Recruiting Office in Bareilly between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM.

Candidates scheduled for March 11 will be allowed entry into the premises from the evening of March 10, where arrangements for accommodation, drinking water, toilets, and paid food facilities will be available.

District Magistrate Avinash Singh directed all departments to ensure that the recruitment process is conducted smoothly, transparently, fairly, and in a peaceful environment. Instructions were issued to the Public Works Department to complete barricading within two days, the electricity department to arrange generators, and the health department to deploy 108 ambulances and medical teams with medicines.

Additional arrangements include teachers for verification of educational certificates, special buses with recruitment rally signage by the Roadways department, fire safety arrangements by the Fire Brigade, and sanitation workers by the Panchayati Raj department.

Municipal Commissioner Sanjeev Kumar Maurya informed that the Municipal Corporation will provide bio-toilets, water tanks, dustbins, and sanitation staff. Shelter homes will also be prepared for candidates who qualify in the running test.

Authorities appealed to all candidates to arrive on time, carry necessary documents, and stay away from rumours and touts.

The meeting was attended by the Director of the Army Recruiting Office Bareilly, Additional District Magistrate (City) Saurabh Dubey, City Magistrate Rajesh Kumar Verma, SP Traffic Mohammad Akmal Khan, Chief Fire Officer Manu Sharma, Circle Officer Ashutosh Shivam, and other officials from the district administration and the Indian Army.
