Meeting Held to Boost Investment by Simplifying Regulations under ‘Ease of Doing Business’

 

Lucknow —  Meeta Rajiv Lochan, Secretary to the Government of India, met with  Anil Kumar, Chairman of the Uttar Pradesh Revenue Board. The primary objective of the meeting was to discuss reforms related to the Government of India’s ambitious ‘Ease of Doing Business’ project. During the discussion,  Lochan shared the difficulties and suggestions received on the investment portal concerning the Revenue Board. She emphasized the need to simplify land and revenue procedures and provide prompt services to investors.

The Chairman of the Revenue Board, Anil Kumar, stated that the Board is continuously working to simplify various land-related legal sections and to make all processes completely online. He also informed her that a plan for updating village maps based on satellite imaging is being implemented soon, which will ensure accuracy and transparency in land records.

Anil Kumar also noted that under the guidance of the  Chief Minister, Uttar Pradesh is making continuous efforts for ‘Ease of Doing Business’ and that the work being done by the Revenue Board will have far-reaching results.

Meeta Rajiv Lochan expressed her satisfaction with these special efforts being made by the Uttar Pradesh Revenue Board. She expressed hope that these initiatives will further facilitate the investment environment in the state and establish Uttar Pradesh as a leader in ‘Ease of Doing Business’.
