Meera Chopra Launches Pincmoon Meta Studios, Makes Production Debut with ‘Gandhi Talks’

Mumbai: Actor and entrepreneur Meera Chopra has officially entered the world of film production with the launch of her banner Pincmoon Meta Studios, marking its debut with the upcoming film ‘Gandhi Talks’. Positioned as a bold and contemplative cinematic experiment, Gandhi Talks is a silent film that celebrates stillness, introspection and inner strength at a time when mainstream cinema is dominated by spectacle and sound.

Presented by Zee Studios, Curious Digital, and Pincmoon Meta Studios, the film departs sharply from dialogue-driven storytelling. Instead, it relies entirely on visual language, emotions and evocative music to narrate its story. By consciously choosing silence as its primary tool, Gandhi Talks invites viewers to pause, reflect and connect with the narrative at a deeper, more personal level.

Speaking about her production philosophy and the launch of her studio, Meera Chopra said, “Pincmoon Meta Studios is born from my belief in the power of stillness and dignity. Silence is not emptiness; it is awareness. Gandhi Talks reflects this very idea. It speaks softly, but it stays with you long after the film ends.”

The emotional core of the film is elevated by the music of Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman, whose score becomes the voice of the narrative. His compositions lend resonance to the film’s quiet moments, transforming silence into a raw and unforgettable cinematic experience.

The film boasts a powerful ensemble cast featuring Vijay Sethupathi, Arvind Swami, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Siddharth Jadhav. Known for their nuanced performances, the actors convey complex emotions without words, reinforcing the film’s central idea that the deepest feelings are often experienced rather than spoken.

Directed by Kishor Pandurang Belekar, whom Meera Chopra describes as a “genius filmmaker,” Gandhi Talks represents a significant step towards boundary-breaking, meditative cinema. The film underscores Pincmoon Meta Studios’ commitment to meaningful storytelling where restraint becomes expression and silence transforms into strength.

Produced by Umesh Kumar Bansal, Meera Chopra, Rajesh Kejriwal, and Kishor Belekar, with Anil Bhandari as co-producer, Gandhi Talks is slated for release on January 30, 2026. With this debut, Meera Chopra positions herself as a producer willing to challenge conventions and champion thoughtful, experiential cinema.
