Medanta Hospital Launches OPD Services in Sitapur, Bringing Specialist Care Closer to Patients

Sitapur: In a significant boost to healthcare access in Sitapur, Medanta Hospital has officially launched its specialist OPD (Outpatient Department) services at Saigal Diagnostics, bringing expert medical consultations closer to patients who previously had to travel long distances to larger cities for treatment.

The initiative aims to provide timely and expert care in Sitapur itself, easing the burden of travel, time, and cost for patients and their families. According to the schedule released by Medanta, leading doctors from various specializations will be available on specific dates each month to offer consultations and follow-ups.

The OPD schedule includes:

  • First Wednesday of every month: Dr. Abhishek Kumar Singh (Director, Medical Oncology)

  • First Thursday: Dr. Vivek Gupta (Senior Consultant, Liver Transplant) and Dr. Abhishek Tandon (Associate Consultant, Pulmonology)

  • Second Wednesday: Dr. Rakesh Mishra (Consultant, Neurology), Dr. Himanshu Gupta (Associate Consultant, Gastroenterology), and Dr. Saumya Vishnoi (Associate Consultant, Nephrology)

  • Second Saturday: Dr. Rohit Kapoor (Consultant, Urology)

  • Fourth Saturday: Dr. Hatif (Senior Consultant, Ortho & Spine) and Dr. Piyush (Consultant, Head & Neck Oncology)

  • Fourth Sunday: Dr. Sumitra Dwivedi (Consultant, Orthopedics)

All consultations will take place at Saigal Diagnostic Centre, Sitapur.
