Mathura: For the convenience of devotees in Barsana, Mathura, a tourist facility center will be built by the Mathura-Vrindavan Development Authority at a cost of 4.5 crores. This will provide many facilities along with accommodation to the devotees coming to Braj from all over the country.
Lakhs of religious tourists come to Barsana from every corner of the country including Delhi NCR. Along with their accommodation, parking facilities, space for cooking food will also be provided. The tourist facility center will be built by the authority at a cost of four and a half crores. The land of Radha Bihari Inter College has been proposed for its construction. About two hundred cars and buses will be able to park at a time in the facility center. Drinking water, sheds for cooking food and other facilities will also be available. In this, along with staying, devotees will be able to park buses and cars and food for hundreds of people will also be prepared in the kitchen.
A large number of devotees coming to Barsana in buses from all over the country face problems in staying. They do not get enough space for staying, parking and food. Along with expensive fare, parking fee has to be paid. With the construction of a tourist facility center, all the necessary facilities will be easily available to the devotees coming in large numbers at the same time.
MVDA Vice President SB Singh said that efforts are being made to provide maximum facilities to the devotees at all the religious places of Braj. In the same sequence, a tourist facility center is being built in Barsana for the convenience of the devotees. The government has approved this project. Work will be started after the rainy season.
