Massive Operation CASO in Jalandhar: Over 500 Policemen Raid Multiple Areas, Several Suspects Detained

Jalandhar: Jalandhar Police Commissionerate, led by Police Commissioner Swapan Sharma and DIG Bhupati  cracked down on street crime and drugs through Operation CASO. Giving information in this regard, the Police Commissioner said that more than 500 policemen were engaged in this campaign. He said that checking was done at bus stands, hotspots, religious places and other places, during which several suspects were detained and recoveries were made. Swapan Sharma said that a bold and carefully coordinated campaign has been launched with the aim of eliminating crime from the city.

Operation CASO conducted in Jalandhar

The Police Commissioner said that the aim of this operation is to curb street crime across the city. He said that more than 500 police personnel were deployed in a coordinated effort to target hotspots known for street crime and drug trafficking across the city. Swapan Sharma said that through extensive crime mapping, 25 key locations were identified for investigation, focusing on notorious criminals and drug dealers.

The Police Commissioner informed that during this operation, several suspects have been detained and items have been recovered. He said that this operation is an important milestone in the unwavering commitment of the Commissionerate Police to ensure public safety and combat street crime and drug-related crimes. Swapan Sharma said that the Punjab Government is committed to eradicate crime from the city and will leave no stone unturned.
