Lucknow: Lucknow witnessed a vibrant celebration of culture as the local unit of Marwari Yuva Manch organized a grand Garba and Dandiya festival on Wednesday night at Brij Ki Rasoi Resort. Traditional tunes and devotional songs dedicated to the goddess set the rhythm, with women and young girls dancing energetically late into the night.
The event commenced with a ceremonial lamp lighting by MLA Dr. Neeraj Bora. During the festival, participants were seen adorned in traditional and Rajasthani attire, dancing in pairs or forming large groups while moving in sync with the beats of devotional songs and popular melodies.
According to media coordinator Varun Agarwal, winners of various competitions were felicitated during the event. Categories included Dandiya Garba, Dandiya Queen, Best Pair, and Best Dandiya Performance, recognizing outstanding participants.

The festival was attended by prominent members of the Marwari community, including Marwari Yuva Manch Chairman Praveen Agarwal, President Shishir Agarwal, Chief Organizer Abhishek Agarwal, General Secretary Suyash Agarwal, along with Pramesh Mittal, Vinay Agarwal, and several women and young girls from the community.
The celebration not only showcased cultural heritage but also strengthened community spirit, leaving attendees immersed in the joyous rhythms of Garba and Dandiya.
