MANTHAN at SMS Lucknow: “Unleash Your Best Self” with Industry Expert Sajid Patel

Lucknow: In its continuous effort to bridge the gap between academia and industry, School of Management Sciences (SMS), Lucknow successfully hosted an enlightening session under its flagship initiative “MANTHAN” — designed to equip students with real-world insights through direct interaction with industry leaders.

The latest edition of MANTHAN featured an engaging and thought-provoking talk by Sajid Patel, Associate Vice President – HR & Head L&OD at Datamatics Global Services Ltd. A highly respected HR leader,  Patel brought with him a wealth of industry experience and sharp acumen in the domain of talent development and organizational growth.

Addressing a hall full of eager students,  Patel spoke on the theme “Unleash Your Best Self,” inspiring young minds to rise to their fullest potential. He highlighted key aspects of modern HR practices, the evolving corporate landscape, and critical 21st-century skills such as emotional intelligence, adaptability, and continuous upskilling.

He also underscored the growing influence of technology and digital transformation in redefining workplace dynamics, encouraging students to become proactive learners and resilient professionals.

A unique element of the session was a Personality Assessment Workshop, where Mr. Patel involved students in hands-on exercises, helping them understand their strengths and growth areas. This was followed by one-on-one mentoring interactions, giving students the rare opportunity to seek personalized career guidance directly from an industry stalwart.

The event was graced by  Sharad Singh, CEO & Secretary, SMS Lucknow, whose motivating presence added to the enthusiasm of the gathering. Also present were (Prof.) Dr. B.R.
