Lucknow — A tragic incident occurred at platform number 3 of Charbagh Railway Station on Tuesday, when a young man climbed atop a stationary train and came in contact with a high-tension electric wire, resulting in his instant death.
According to officials, the unidentified man climbed the roof of the train and grabbed the live overhead high-tension line, causing him to suffer a fatal electric shock. The incident created panic among passengers present on the platform.
GRP (Government Railway Police) and civil police teams rushed to the spot upon receiving information. Authorities have confirmed that the victim’s identity is yet to be ascertained, and an investigation is underway to determine the reason behind the man’s actions.
