Major Mishap Averted in Lucknow’s Naka Area as Police Contain House Fire Within 15 Minutes

Lucknow | A major tragedy was averted in Lucknow’s Naka police station area when a fire broke out in a residential house in Bashiratganj outpost limits. Thanks to the swift response and presence of mind shown by the police and fire department, the blaze was brought under control within 15 minutes, preventing any serious casualties.

According to reports, the fire started at the residence of Kishore Kumar Gupta (House No. 134/94) when a gas leak from an LPG cylinder ignited while cooking was underway. Within moments, the flames spread rapidly through the house. One family member sustained minor injuries, but no major loss of life was reported.

Upon receiving the information, Bashiratganj Outpost In-charge Ajit Rai and his team rushed to the spot, evacuating all residents safely. The team, including Sub-Inspector Amjad Ali, Constable Sushil Kumar, and Abhishek Tripathi, worked alongside the fire brigade to douse the flames swiftly.

The fire was successfully contained within 15 minutes of the incident being reported, preventing it from spreading to nearby houses in the densely populated locality.

Outpost In-charge Ajit Rai praised his team’s timely action, stating, “Public safety is our highest priority. We are always ready to respond promptly to any emergency.”

Local residents and officials lauded the police and firefighters for their quick and coordinated response, which averted a potential disaster.
