Maha Kumbh Nagar is being decorated with 1.5 lakh plants in such a way that the devotees coming here from all over the country and abroad get sufficient oxygen, as well as this time’s Maha Kumbh becomes memorable by seeing the beauty of nature. On the instructions of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, work is going on to decorate the main intersections of Maha Kumbh Nagar as well as the major highways coming here in a natural way.
100% plantation work will be completed by December 10-
DFO Prayagraj Arvind Kumar Yadav says that as per the wishes of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, preparations are going on to make this time’s Maha Kumbh divine, new and grand. Under this, a target of planting a total of 149,620 saplings has been set. In which 137,964 saplings have been planted so far. 100 percent plantation work will be completed in Maha Kumbh by December 10. The most special thing is that as soon as the devotees enter the Maha Kumbh, they will be welcomed by 50 thousand beautiful plants. Seeing their beauty, domestic and foreign tourists will be very excited. The forest department team is making preparations on a war footing to prepare the green Maha Kumbh. Work is going on to plant beautiful plants on every road and every intersection in the entire Maha Kumbh Nagar. Maha Kumbh Nagar will look completely green even before the arrival of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Entry and exit routes are being decorated with plants-
Alok Kumar Pandey, IT head of the Forest Department in Prayagraj, said that the entry and exit routes inside the Maha Kumbh Nagar and connecting the city are being decorated with ornamental plants. Many works are being done here by planting thematic plants, including 50 thousand cement guards, 10 thousand round iron tree guards, 2500 square iron guards.
Enjoyment of oxygen bank and city forest in 20 hectares of Saraswati Hi-Tech City-
A high-density oxygen forest is being developed in Saraswati Hi-Tech City. It will work as an oxygen bank and city forest. Under Saraswati Hi-Tech City, 87120 plants are being planted in 20 hectares, which will attract tourists from India and abroad.
Plants being decorated on 18 routes within a radius of 190 km-
On the instructions of Yogi government, work is going on to plant about 50 thousand plants on 18 routes in Mahakumbhnagar within a radius of 190 km. 2500 plants have been planted in the urban area of Mahakumbhnagar. Work is going on to plant 50 thousand plants mainly on 18 routes including Prayagraj-Ayodhya route, Prayagraj-Varanasi route as well as Lucknow, Mirzapur, Rewa and Banda.
10 thousand plants being planted in the Ganga coastal area-
10 thousand plants are being planted in the Ganga coastal area. Decoration work is going on at Pakka Ghat, especially on the banks of Jhunsi, Arail and Phaphamau. Plants of different species are being planted in the urban areas of Mahakumbhnagar, from Pakka Ghat to Hitech City in Karchana Range, in which about 2500 plants of Gold Mohar, Kachnar and Amaltas have been planted. The entire coastal area along the Ganga river is being made green. Various development works of plantation are going on in Mahakumbhnagar under Green Mahakumbh. 3000 Arjun plants are being planted along the Ganga river, especially in the left coastal area. At the same time, Gold Mohar and Kanji plants are being planted on the southern bank of Sangam Ganga Yamuna along with Prayag and Soraon area. 2000 plants are being planted in Karchana Range. Along with this, 1700 Arjun and Kachnar plants are being planted in the coastal area along the Ganga river, Jhunsi, Kakra-Lilapur connecting road Phulpur. At the same time, 1800 Arjun Peepal saplings are being planted on the Phaphamau-Sahso-Hanumanganj road and the Prayagraj-Gorakhpur road-Phoolpur road.
