Lucknow: In a significant boost to campus placements, leading pharmaceutical major Macleods Pharmaceuticals Ltd conducted a successful recruitment drive at the Goel Group of Institutions campus on Ayodhya Road, selecting 39 students across pharmacy and biotechnology streams. This marks the third consecutive year that the company has carried out large-scale hiring from the institution, underscoring growing industry confidence in its academic standards.
Ranked among India’s top pharmaceutical companies, Macleods organized the selection process for positions in Quality Control, Production, and allied departments. Nearly 150 students enthusiastically participated in the drive, representing courses such as D.Pharm, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, and Biotechnology.
The recruitment process comprised a written assessment followed by personal interviews. After a competitive evaluation, 39 candidates secured final offers, creating an atmosphere of celebration across the campus.
The placement initiative was conducted under the guidance and leadership of Managing Director Er. Mahesh Goel, whose continued emphasis on industry-academia collaboration has strengthened the institution’s placement track record.
Before the commencement of the selection rounds, company representatives addressed the students, offering detailed insights into Macleods’ operations, growth trajectory, and career advancement opportunities. The delegation included Amreek Singh, Nodal Head – Centre of Excellence and Assistant General Manager (HRD); Nishchay, Senior Executive-II, Centre of Excellence; and Vijay Kumar, Senior Executive-II, Human Resource Development. They briefed students about current industry expectations, emerging trends in pharmaceutical manufacturing, and the skill sets required to thrive in a competitive corporate environment.
