Lucknow: The men’s and women’s karate teams of Lucknow University delivered outstanding performances at the Inter-University North East Zone Karate Championship held at Dibrugarh University, Assam, from April 1 to 4, qualifying for the All India Championship.
Prof. Ajay Kumar Arya, General Secretary of the Sports Council, noted that both teams had secured bronze medals last year, and hopes are high for even better results in this year’s national championship. The teams were accompanied by Prateek Pandey in the role of manager.
Commending the teams’ achievements, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Jayprakash Saini congratulated the players and extended his best wishes for their upcoming performance at the All India Championship.
