Lucknow: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released the official full schedule of IPL 2024. KL Rahul-led Lucknow Super Giants had to face defeat in their very first match of IPL 2024. BCCI had announced only 21 matches for the first two weeks of IPL 2024 on February 22 due to the Lok Sabha elections in the country, but now the official full schedule of IPL 2024 was released. Gujarat Titans (GT) may have taken away all headlines during the IPL 2022 season but Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) weren’t behind as KL Rahul saw his side make a huge presence during the season. The debutants have already made the playoffs twice and given a good account for themselves.

Lucknow Super Giants scored the highest total of the season when they hit 257/5 against Punjab Kings in Mohali. Australian star Marcus Stoinis with 408 runs was the leading scorer for LSG in IPL 2023.
This year Lucknow Super Giants have invested massively in Shivam Mavi and former England pacer David Willey. The addition of Tamil Nadu spinner M. Siddharth will make the LSG bowling unit very dangerous during IPL 2024.
