“Lucknow Spectrum 2025: A Celebration of Indian Art’s Diversity and Sensibility”

The grand art fair brings together 111 renowned artists from across India — featuring works by Padma Shri awardees and actor-artist Pankaj Jha

Lucknow: The cultural capital of India, Lucknow, known for its tehzeeb and timeless creativity, witnessed a vibrant celebration of art and expression as the “Lucknow Spectrum – 2025” Art Fair opened at the South Atrium, Phoenix Palassio. Jointly organized by Florescense Art Gallery and Phoenix Palassio, the art fair was inaugurated by Sanjay Prasad, Principal Secretary, Home and Information Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh, who lauded the participating artists for their remarkable creativity and contribution to India’s cultural fabric.

The press conference preceding the inauguration outlined the fair’s vision and objectives, with Sanjeev Sarin (Retail Director, Phoenix Mills Ltd. North), Vinay Shahane (Head of Marketing, Phoenix Palassio), and curators Bhupendra Kumar Asthana, Rajesh Kumar, and Gopal Samantaray sharing insights into the event.

Neha Singh, Director of Florescense Art Gallery, and Sanjeev Sarin emphasized that Lucknow Spectrum 2025 is “not merely an exhibition, but a celebration of imagination, dialogue, and innovation — a platform that bridges the emotional gap between artist and audience through the universal language of art.” Sareen added, “Phoenix Palassio has always championed creative initiatives that reflect the city’s identity. The Lucknow Spectrum 2025 is a festival of the city’s artistic soul and a vibrant confluence of diversity, emotion, and contemporary vision.”

Curated by Bhupendra Kumar Asthana, Rajesh Kumar, and Gopal Samantaray, the fair brings together 111 celebrated artists from across India, including Padma Shri award-winning painters and acclaimed film actor Pankaj Jha, whose works drew special admiration. The exhibition, open from November 1 to 30, 2025, features traditional and contemporary art forms from multiple states — including Kohbar from Uttar Pradesh, Madhubani from Bihar, Gond and Bhil paintings from Madhya Pradesh, Pichwai and Phad from Rajasthan, Pahadi miniatures from Himachal, Mural art from Kerala, and Pattachitra from West Bengal.

The fair showcases a wide range of mediums — paintings, sculptures, ceramics, murals, prints, photography, textiles, miniatures, and Assamese Majuli masks — offering a panoramic view of India’s artistic evolution.

Beyond its aesthetic appeal, Lucknow Spectrum 2025 aims to promote art investment as a meaningful intersection of culture and prosperity. Organizers highlighted that investing in art is not merely about owning a painting or sculpture — it is an investment in thought, creativity, and cultural continuity. As art increasingly gains recognition as a form of cultural capital in the global economy, events like this position Lucknow as a dynamic center for both artistic and economic growth.

Florescense Art Gallery, founded in 2019, envisions making art accessible, interactive, and collectible — transforming exhibitions into movements of cultural dialogue. Through Lucknow Spectrum 2025, the gallery reinforces its belief that art is not confined to walls; it reflects the soul of society.

In essence, Lucknow Spectrum 2025 stands as a magnificent confluence of art, culture, and investment, reaffirming that in the City of Nawabs, art is not just a reflection of beauty — it is a living expression of heritage, creativity, and the promise of a culturally enriched future.
