Lucknow Police Nab Wanted Accused in Mahanagar Area

LUCKNOW – In a continued effort to crack down on crime and criminals, as directed by the Commissioner of Police, Lucknow Commissionerate, the Mahanagar police team has successfully apprehended a wanted accused.

Under the guidance of the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central), the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central), and the Assistant Commissioner of Police (Mahanagar), and the direct supervision of the Station House Officer, Mahanagar, the police team executed a warrant leading to the arrest of Kallu alias Javed, son of Nabig. The accused, approximately 33 years old and residing near the Metha Nursery under the Nishatganj bridge, was wanted in connection with Case No. 531/2008, Crime No. 118/2008, under Section 23 of the U.P. State Excise Act, Police Station Mahanagar, Lucknow. The warrant for his arrest was issued by the Special Excise Court, Lucknow, on May 7, 2005.

Following intelligence gathering, the police team located the accused at his residence. He was informed of the arrest warrant issued by the Honorable Court and taken into custody today, April 27, 2025. The arrested accused is being presented before the Honorable Court.
