Lucknow: In a bid to enforce traffic discipline and curb noise pollution, Lucknow Police have launched a stringent campaign against high-speed and modified motorcycles. A special checking drive was conducted in the Gomti Nagar Extension area, where several vehicles underwent thorough inspection.
Under the leadership of Inspector Sudhir Awasthi, the Bharwara area witnessed focused checks aimed at identifying violators. During the operation, a motorcycle equipped with a modified silencer was seized for violating traffic regulations. Authorities confirmed that strict legal action would be taken against offenders found flouting the rules.
Inspector Awasthi has previously led similar drives resulting in the seizure of numerous modified bikes in the city. Lucknow Police remain committed to taking firm action against those causing noise pollution and disregarding traffic laws.
Officials stated that the campaign will continue in the coming days to ensure safe and disciplined traffic movement across the city.
