LUCKNOW – The Qaisarbagh police, under the leadership of Inspector Anjani Mishra, have arrested a major cannabis supplier, Mohammed Shariq, and confiscated a significant quantity of the illegal substance.
Shariq was apprehended with 1.9 kilograms of cannabis, an amount valued at several lakhs on the black market. The arrest is a major step in the police’s mission to dismantle the cannabis trade in the area.
Inspector Mishra stated that the Qaisarbagh police are committed to eradicating the illegal drug trade from its roots. He indicated that this arrest is part of a larger operation, and there is a strong possibility that all other small and large-scale cannabis suppliers in the area will soon be behind bars. The police team’s successful operation is expected to disrupt the local drug network and improve public safety.
