Lucknow: In a significant operation, the PGI Police team of the Southern Zone has arrested a cunning vehicle thief and recovered a stolen Yamaha motorcycle. The arrest was made in connection with FIR No. 613/2025 registered under Section 303(2) BNS at PGI Police Station.
On November 30, 2025, the complainant, Ashish Masiha, son of the late Sanjay Masiha, resident of Abhishek Eldico Udyan 2, PGI, reported that his Yamaha motorcycle was stolen while he was attending a wedding at Millennium Palace, Vrindavan Yojana. Acting on this complaint, the PGI Police conducted surveillance and successfully recovered the stolen motorcycle in front of Blissful Banquet Lawn near Defence Expo Ground.
The accused, Abhishek Tiwari, son of Sunil Tiwari, aged 21, resident of Mirkanagar, Nigoha, Lucknow, was arrested on the spot and necessary legal action is underway. Based on the recovery, Section 317(2) BNS was added to the FIR.
