Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation under the guidance of professional Yoga Guru celebrated the 10th International Yoga Day in workshop of Transport Nagar Depot of Lucknow Metro. Sushil Kumar, Managing Director, C.P. Singh, Director (Work & Infrastructure), Naveen Kumar, Director, Rolling Stock and Prashant Mishra, Director, Operation participated in the program and all the officers and employees were encouraged to do yoga under the guidance of a Yoga Guru.
Speaking on the occasion, Managing Director UPMRC Sushil Kumar said, “Yoga is not just about physical wellbeing, it’s a lot more than that. It’s about finding inner peace and striking a balance; balance between mind and body, internal and external wellbeing. No matter how busy you are, try to find time for practicing yoga at least for half an hour if you have a very hectic schedule. As the world celebrates International Yoga Day, let’s all do yoga for “Yoga for Self and Society”. Yog guru Swami Abhishek dev demonstrated and briefed about Yog asanas to UPMRC officials.
