Lucknow: For the first time in Lucknow, a special art session focusing on the economic power of art will be held as part of the ‘Lucknow Contemporary Indian Art Fair – 2025.’ A large number of visitors are enthusiastically viewing the contemporary artworks displayed at the fair.
The event is being jointly organized by Florescence Art Gallery and Phoenix Palassio. Scheduled for Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 5 PM, this special session aims to highlight how art contributes to economic growth and investment. Neha Singh, Director of Florescence Art Gallery, has invited renowned economic art experts, artists, and corporate business leaders to participate in the discussions.
Speaking about the session, curator Bhupendra Asthana stated, “Contemporary art has evolved globally, not only as an expression of social and human emotions but also as an economically significant industry. Through this visual art session, the Lucknow Contemporary Indian Art Fair will present the city in a new light and open doors to new possibilities in the field of art.”
The session will take place at Phoenix Palassio, Ground Floor, North Atrium, and will feature guest speaker Vikas Kumar, a former curator at NGMA, New Delhi, research scholar, and art administrator. He will provide an in-depth analysis of art as an investment and discuss its future prospects. Key discussion points will include:
