LUCKNOW: After successful conduct of Common Entrance Written Examination (CEE) for various categories of Agniveer from 30th June 2025 to 10th July 2025, Headquarters Zonal Recruiting Office (UP & UK) Lucknow has started preparations for the recruitment rally of Army Recruiting Offices (AROs) falling under its jurisdiction. After the result of the written exam is declared, the successful candidates will have to undergo physical fitness test (PFT) which will include various physical tests including running in the given time and during this their educational documents will be checked. In this regard a separate recruitment rallies date-wise schedule of all Army Recruitment Offices (AROs) will be issued.
It is noteworthy that a total of Army Recruitment Offices come under Headquarters Zonal Recruiting Office (UP & UK) Lucknow, which includes six in Uttar Pradesh (Lucknow, Amethi, Bareilly, Agra, Meerut and Varanasi) and three in Uttarakhand (Almora, Lansdowne and Pithoragarh).
Major General Manoj Tiwari, Zonal Recruiting Officer (ZRO-UP & UK), Headquarters Zonal Recruiting Office (UP & UK), Lucknow met the Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Manoj Kumar Singh, IAS on 16 July 25 and made them aware of the preparations for the upcoming recruitment rallies in the state.

During the meeting, Major General Tiwari thanked the civil administration and police administration for their support and cooperation in successfully organising the upcoming recruitment rallies in a transparent, fair and accident-free manner in the state which has the largest recruitable population in the country. Major General Tiwari also informed the Chief Secretary about the rallies to be conducted by six AROs in the State for which candidates who are successful in the Common Entrance Examination (CEE) would be shortlisted.
