Lucknow: Students at LMGC took a significant step toward global academic exploration, thanks to an insightful workshop hosted by Avenir, the school’s Career Counselling Club. The session focused on liberal education, a dynamic and increasingly relevant route in today’s evolving academic landscape.
The workshop was led by Shalini Gumber, Director of Outreach and Admissions at KEDGE Business School, Mumbai, an affiliate campus of Vijaybhoomi University. With nearly two decades of experience in international education and student engagement, Gumber has been instrumental in building bridges between Indian students and global opportunities.
Her interactive session engaged students of Classes 11 and 12, urging them to reflect on their aspirations—their dream college, dream job, and dream life—and map out actionable strategies to get there.

She introduced the audience to KEDGE’s Integrated Management Program, a flexible and innovative model that allows students to explore multiple disciplines before choosing a specialization at the end of the second year. The program emphasizes exploration, adaptability, and global exposure.

One of the most exciting prospects discussed was the opportunity for international mobility. Through partnerships with KEDGE campuses in France, students can pursue the final years of their undergraduate program or a master’s degree in Europe or the United States.

The session opened up fresh perspectives on education beyond conventional streams, leaving students inspired to look at higher education not just as a degree—but as a journey of global discovery.
