Lucknow: The Laxmanpur Awadh Mahotsav commenced on Thursday with an atmosphere filled with devotion and tradition at Awadh Bihar Yojna B-2, Awadh Shilpgram (Open Grounds). The festival was inaugurated with special prayers and Vedic chants, led by chief guest Acharya Mohit Shukla and special guest Dr. Sapna Shukla.
The inaugural ceremony was enriched by the devotional recitations of Acharya Mohit Shukla’s children—Pradyumn, Vedansh, and Vidita—whose spiritual verses captivated the gathering and set a serene tone for the event.

Cultural Performances Steal the Show
Following the ceremonial opening, the cultural stage came alive with a series of vibrant performances. Under the direction of Sakshi Dwivedi, young artists including Shreya, Adwik, Shivang, Vedika, Samriddhi, Gauri, and Riddhi presented graceful dance and music performances that drew enthusiastic applause from the audience.
In another segment, students trained by Anamika Yadav—among them Shrijal and Arshika—delivered powerful and energetic performances that showcased their talent and dedication.

Artists Felicitated
Festival President Vinod Kumar Singh and Vice President N.B. Singh honoured all participating artists with certificates of appreciation, acknowledging their contribution to the cultural fabric of the event.
The Laxmanpur Awadh Mahotsav, rooted in tradition and community spirit, promises several days of devotional, cultural, and artistic celebrations.
