Lucknow— The maiden edition of the Kunskapsskolan Lucknow Model United Nations Conference (KKLMUN) 2025 commenced on a high note, with an electrifying Opening Ceremony that embodied the spirit of diplomacy, leadership, and global dialogue.
The grand event began with a traditional Lamp Lighting Ceremony, symbolising enlightenment and the pursuit of knowledge. The moment was marked by the presence of distinguished dignitaries including Madhulika Aggarwal, Head of School; Satyendra Bari, Guest of Honour; Durgesh Tripathi, Chief Guest; along with MUN Coordinator Suman Mishra. Their presence brought gravitas and encouragement to the event, reinforcing the importance of youth engagement in international affairs.
The Opening Ceremony was further enlivened by a mesmerising cultural dance performance by students of Grades 10 and 11. The vibrant display of grace and tradition added a special charm to the event, celebrating the diverse talents of Kunskapsskolan students.
In their addresses, the Chief Guest, Guest of Honour, and Head of School shared words of wisdom and motivation. They encouraged the young delegates to make the most of this platform by honing their skills in public speaking, negotiation, and collaborative problem-solving—values at the heart of the MUN experience.
A major highlight of the ceremony was the screening of the official KKLMUN 2025 Trailer, meticulously crafted by the KKL Media Team. The trailer introduced the various committees and agendas, igniting excitement and curiosity among delegates about the debates and discussions that lay ahead.
The Gavel Distribution Ceremony followed, formally inducting the Chairs and Vice Chairs of the respective committees. A special video introduction of the KKLMUN 2025 Secretariat, in collaboration with the Media Team, gave the audience a glimpse into the minds leading this grand initiative.
