Kuldeep Yadav Gets Engaged to Childhood Friend Vanshika in Intimate Lucknow Ceremony

Lucknow: Indian cricketer Kuldeep Yadav got engaged to his childhood friend Vanshika  in a quiet, private ceremony in Lucknow, marking a joyous milestone in the spinner’s personal life.

The engagement, steeped in tradition and warmth, was attended by close family, friends, and a few familiar faces from the cricketing world, including India and Kolkata Knight Riders star Rinku Singh. The couple exchanged rings at a cozy venue in the city, sealing a bond that has stood the test of time.

Vanshika, a native of Shyam Nagar in Lucknow, currently works with LIC. Her enduring friendship with Kuldeep began in childhood and gradually blossomed into love. Their journey from playful companionship to life partners added a heartfelt touch to the ceremony.

Off the field, Kuldeep continues to make his mark in the world of cricket. Representing Delhi Capitals in IPL 2025, the 30-year-old left-arm wrist-spinner delivered a steady performance—claiming 15 wickets in 14 matches at an economy rate of 7.08 and an average of 24.07. His standout spell of 3/22 reaffirmed his effectiveness in the shortest format.

Since debuting for India in 2017, Kuldeep has emerged as a key figure across formats, especially in ODIs, where he has amassed over 180 wickets. Known for his sharp variations and his signature ‘chinaman’ delivery, Kuldeep has often been the X-factor in India’s bowling arsenal.

With his engagement marking a new beginning personally, Kuldeep now turns his attention to the international arena, where he is expected to play a pivotal role during India’s upcoming red-ball tour of England. His experience and skill will be crucial as India aims for success on challenging overseas pitches.
