Kiran Foundation Launches ‘Winter Drive’, Distributes Blankets to Needy Families in Lucknow

Lucknow: Continuing its commitment to social service, Kiran Foundation has launched its annual “Winter Drive” campaign, a humanitarian initiative it has been running consistently for the past seven years. As part of the drive, the foundation distributed blankets to around 100 needy families in Gindan Kheda village, Amausi, in Lucknow district on Sunday.

The blanket distribution programme was organised to provide relief to underprivileged families amid the ongoing cold wave. The initiative received active support and participation from Ranjay Chauhan, Sanjay Singh, and Aditya Chauhan, whose cooperation played a key role in the successful execution of the event.

Residents of the village expressed gratitude to the foundation for extending timely help during the harsh winter season. Volunteers of Kiran Foundation ensured that the blankets were distributed in an orderly manner, reaching those most in need.

Speaking on the occasion, Vishal Shrivastava, President of Kiran Foundation, said that the organisation remains firmly committed to serving society. “Our foundation will continue to work relentlessly for the welfare of the needy and marginalised sections of society. ‘Winter Drive’ is a small effort to bring warmth and relief to families struggling during the cold months,” he said.

Kiran Foundation has been actively involved in various social welfare initiatives over the years, focusing on community support, humanitarian aid, and inclusive development. The organisation reaffirmed that similar outreach programmes will continue in the future to support vulnerable communities across the region.
