“Khushiyon Ki Pathshala” takes kids on a joyride at State Museum

Lucknow: The State Museum, Lucknow, under the Department of Culture, Uttar Pradesh, hosted a vibrant event under its “Khushiyon Ki Pathshala” programme, themed around “Children, Museum, and Art.” A total of 35 children aged 4 to 14 participated, including students from Mukti Foundation and other schools.

The children creatively painted on wooden canvases using colors and brushes, illustrating themes like fish, flowers, birds, homes, peacocks, and environmental conservation. The aim was to introduce young minds to the artistic and cultural heritage preserved in the museum while fostering creativity, intellectual growth, and aesthetic awareness through fun-filled learning.

Dr. Srishti Dhawan, Director of the State Museum, distributed certificates to all participants, encouraging their artistic efforts. The event was successfully coordinated by Dr. Meenakshi Khemka, Preeti Sahni, Shalini Srivastava, and others. Notable attendees included Alshaz Fatmi, Dr. Vinay Kumar Singh, and members of the Mukti Foundation, along with many proud parents.
