Over 200 National and International Experts to Participate
Lucknow | The King George’s Medical University (KGMU), Lucknow, renowned for its excellence in respiratory medicine and innovation, is set to host the 59th Annual National Conference of the Indian College of Allergy, Asthma, and Applied Immunology (ICAAICON 2025). The event is being organized by the Department of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, KGMU, and is recognized as one of the country’s oldest and most prestigious academic platforms dedicated to allergy, asthma, and applied immunology.
Addressing a press conference, Prof. (Dr.) Ved Prakash, Head of the Department of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, KGMU, shared details about the upcoming academic event. He stated that the four-day conference will begin with two pre-conference workshops on Thursday — one focused on Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) and the other on Allergy Management. The main three-day conference will then be held from October 31 to November 2, 2025.
Prof. Ved Prakash highlighted that ICAAICON 2025 will serve as a premier platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and advancement in the fields of allergy, asthma, and immunology. The conference will feature participation from over 800 delegates and more than 200 national and international experts, making it a landmark event in the field of respiratory and immunological sciences.
The objective of the conference, he said, is to bring together healthcare professionals, researchers, and academicians from across the country to deliberate on the latest developments in allergy diagnostics, asthma management, immunotherapy, and biologics.

The scientific program will include plenary lectures, keynote addresses, symposia, debates, and interactive panel discussions, offering participants an extensive overview of cutting-edge research and clinical best practices.
Prof. Ved Prakash further emphasized that such academic gatherings not only foster scientific dialogue but also contribute significantly to enhancing patient care through evidence-based practices and global collaborations.
