Bareilly: The Under-17 Boys’ Hockey Team of Kendriya Vidyalaya IVRI, Bareilly, has secured first place in the 54th Regional Sports Meet, held under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (HQ), New Delhi, and organized by the Regional Office, Lucknow.
Demonstrating stellar performance on the field, the team emerged as champions, earning accolades for their skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship. In recognition of their achievement, all 16 team members were awarded gold medals and a trophy by the Deputy Commissioner of the Lucknow Region during the prize distribution ceremony.
At the school level, the players were also felicitated for their outstanding contribution. Principal Mewalal congratulated the students and extended his heartfelt appreciation to sports instructor Dr. Anwar Ali for his dedicated coaching and leadership. “This victory is a moment of pride for the school and a testament to the hard work of both the players and their mentor,” the Principal stated.
