Lucknow |A delegation led by Professor America Singh visited the Kalyan Singh Cancer Institute in Lucknow on Monday to review its medical infrastructure and healthcare services. The delegation included former Lucknow University Students’ Union president Manoj Tiwari and senior student leader Rajesh Jaiswal.
During the visit, the team toured various departments of the institute and closely examined the advanced treatment facilities available for cancer patients. The delegation also held a courtesy meeting with the Director of the institute, Professor Dr. M.L.B. Bhatt, and discussed the institute’s role in strengthening cancer care in Uttar Pradesh.
Review of Advanced, International-Standard Facilities
Professor America Singh appreciated the state-of-the-art medical equipment and treatment systems at the institute. He stated that it was a moment of pride to witness international-level cancer treatment facilities within Uttar Pradesh, which significantly reduce the need for patients to seek treatment outside the state or country.
US-Imported Machines and Robotic Technology
Highlighting the institute’s technological strength, Professor Singh noted that several advanced machines installed at the cancer institute have been imported from the United States. These include robotic and eye-controlled technologies that are considered benchmarks of leading global cancer treatment centers. He emphasized that such modern infrastructure reflects the institute’s commitment to providing high-quality and precise medical care.

Professor America Singh congratulated the Director, doctors, faculty members and healthcare staff for their dedicated service to society. He praised their efforts in delivering affordable and advanced cancer treatment and expressed confidence that the institute would continue to raise standards in oncology care.
