Kakori Train Centenary to be celebrated in madrasas with great pomp

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Panchayati Raj, Minority Welfare Muslim Waqf and Haj Minister  Om Prakash Rajbhar held a review meeting with the district level officers of the Minority Welfare Department in Tilak Hall of the Vidhan Sabha. He said that under the leadership of the  Chief Minister, the entire state is celebrating the Kakori Train Action Centenary Festival and Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan with great pomp.

He directed that Kakori Train Action Centenary Festival should be celebrated in all madrasas from 09 to 15 August 2024 and Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan from 13 to 15 August.

On this occasion, programs like general knowledge competition, painting competition, calligraphy and essay competition, speech and debate competition, national anthem and brass band playing etc. should be organized in madrasas.

Prabhat Pheri of children should be taken out. Tricolor lighting should be done in madrasas and articles related to freedom fighters and revolutionaries should be read and narrated to the children in all madrasas.

Selfie/reel/video/photo with flag of the entire program should be taken and uploaded on Har Ghar Tiranga.com and Namo App. So that it can be widely publicized.

During the departmental review meeting, the Panchayati Raj Minister should get all the children to download the Madrasa e-learning app (Mela) operated by the department so that this app can be used properly. Training has been given to operate this mobile app.

Students can download this app and use the study material available in it in their studies. An orientation module on Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been prepared by the SCERT team for the orientation of teachers. A total of 22 videos have also been made in this regard. Madrasa teachers should inform the students about this new technology. Children can use AI technology in a better way in online shopping and Google Maps.

The Panchayati Raj Minister gave instructions in this regard that maximum number of children should get the benefit of scholarship related schemes. He said that by applying between July 10 to October 31, the Pre-Maximum Scholarship Scheme and by applying between November 17 to December 31, 2024, the maximum benefit of the Post-Maximum Scholarship Scheme should be provided to minority students.

No complaint should be received regarding scholarship from any district. He also directed that biometric system should be strictly implemented in madrasas in a phased manner. In place of problems being faced in Aadhaar based biometric, face / finger biometric should be strictly followed. Biometric system is for the betterment of students and not for trouble.

He directed to strictly implement it in madrasas by making an action plan related to geo tagging along with digital mapping. Along with this, instructions were given to appoint mandal-wise in-charges, so that effective monitoring can also be done. He directed to dispose of pending cases related to IGRS, RTI and court cases as per rules. The Prime Minister has given instructions to complete the ongoing projects related to Government Degree Colleges, Government ITI, Government Polytechnic, Inter Colleges which were closed for the betterment of public development programs and the department, on time and in a quality manner.

Minister of State for Minority Welfare,  Danish Azad Ansari, who was present in the meeting, said that programs should be organized by the department on Kakori Train Action Centenary Festival and Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan and all the District Minority Welfare Officers must invite the respected public representatives of their respective districts.

Upload videos and selfies of the programs on social media and also invite press representatives for the coverage of the program. So that the grandeur and beauty of the program can be conveyed to the people. He said that more and more students should be aware of the scholarship scheme being run for the welfare of minority students. Madrasas should be made more modern. New information can be made available to the children studying in madrasas by connecting them with AI technology. Additional Chief Secretary Minority Welfare  Monica S. Garg, Director  J. Ribha, Special Secretary  Ramesh Chandra,  Ram Pratap Vimal and other departmental officers were present in the meeting.
