Lucknow – The first phase of Noida International Airport, Jewar, was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, signaling a historic step toward realizing the vision of “Developed India–Developed Uttar Pradesh.” The state-of-the-art airport is expected to boost global connectivity, create new avenues for investment, trade, and employment, and strengthen Uttar Pradesh’s position on the international economic map.
Addressing the occasion, Sandeep Singh, Minister of Basic Education (Independent Charge), said that the project would serve as a milestone in the state’s holistic development. He emphasized that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Uttar Pradesh is achieving new heights in infrastructure, industrial growth, connectivity, and governance.
“The Jewar International Airport will not only benefit the state but also contribute to balanced regional development, generate employment opportunities for youth, and attract investors, giving a significant boost to the state’s economy,” Minister Singh said.

He expressed gratitude to both the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister, stating that under their guidance, Uttar Pradesh continues to advance rapidly toward the goal of a developed India and a developed state, with Jewar Airport standing as a shining symbol of progress.
