Jaipur : The Jaipur Polo Team continued its remarkable run this season by clinching the prestigious SMS Gold Vase title under the leadership of Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh. In a thrilling final, Jaipur defeated Krishna Polo Team 6–5.5 to secure its ninth title of the season, reaffirming its dominance on the polo circuit.
A Closely Contested Final
The final proved to be an intense contest with both teams trading momentum across the chukkers. Jaipur started strongly, applying early attacking pressure to take a 2–1.5 lead at the end of the first chukker.
Krishna Polo responded effectively in the second chukker. Led by Vishal Singh Rathore, the team mounted a comeback and edged ahead 3.5–3 by halftime, setting the stage for a dramatic second half.
Jaipur regained control in the third chukker by improving possession and capitalizing on scoring opportunities. Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh spearheaded the attack with clinical finishing, helping Jaipur extend the lead to 5–3.5.
Late Fightback from Krishna Polo
The final chukker saw a spirited fightback from Krishna Polo. Goals from Vishal Singh Rathore and Siddhant Singh narrowed the margin and kept the match on edge.
However, Jaipur maintained composure in the closing moments, holding firm defensively and managing the game effectively to seal a 6–5.5 victory and lift the coveted SMS Gold Vase trophy.
Strong Comeback in the Semi-Final
Earlier in the semi-final against RPCB Polo Team, Jaipur staged an impressive comeback after trailing 3.5–1 at the end of the first chukker.

The team responded strongly in the second chukker with goals from Harshod Singh and Yogendra Singh, leveling the score at 4.5–4 by halftime.
Momentum shifted decisively in the third chukker as Jaipur strengthened its defense and controlled possession. Goals from Divyamaan Singh Dujod and Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh pushed the team ahead 5–4.5.
Jaipur carried the momentum into the final chukker, extending its lead to 8–5.5 and securing a comfortable victory to book a place in the final.

For Jaipur, Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh led the scoring with three goals, while Harshod Singh and Yogendra Singh contributed two goals each, and Divyamaan Singh Dujod added one.
