Lucknow: Isabella Thoburn College’s Alumni Desk, under the guidance of College President Dr. E.S. Charles, hosted the Alumni Meet 2026 on Saturday, bringing together former students from the 1976 batch onwards to celebrate their enduring connection with the institution.
The event commenced with a prayer by SCM students, followed by a welcome address from Acting Principal Dr. (Major) Neerja Masih, who highlighted the college’s remarkable journey and emphasized how education at IT College translates into meaningful social contributions. Drawing from her own experience as an alumna, she shared how the strong foundation she received enabled her to excel both in teaching and defense services.

A key highlight of the day was the official launch of the Alumni Newsletter, compiled by Sana Bano, a former Chemistry Department student now working at IIT Roorkee. Following a networking tea break, the session titled “In the Lanes of Memories” revived cherished campus moments and traditional college songs.

The afternoon featured interactive games, quizzes, and open discussions on personal and professional journeys, culminating in a vibrant cultural showcase presented jointly by alumni and the college. The segment “Cultural Expressions” opened with a captivating Bharatanatyam performance by current Zoology student Vrati Saxena, followed by an emotive poetry recital on ‘Mother’ by Nidhi Divakar.

The program concluded with a magical rendition of the song “In the Gardens of IT College” by the alumni, symbolizing the enduring bond between the college and its graduates.
