Lucknow: In a major step towards strengthening industrial registration and transparency in Uttar Pradesh, Invest UP will organise facilitation camps for industry stakeholders from February 9 to February 16. As part of this initiative, more than 100 Chief Minister’s Udyami Mitras will conduct on-ground support camps across three major industrial areas of the Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA)—Surajpur (Gautam Buddh Nagar), Ghaziabad and Sandila (Hardoi).
The camps aim to provide on-site guidance, grievance redressal and handholding support to industrial units, particularly MSMEs, to simplify and promote factory registration. Industry-related queries and objections will be addressed, and stakeholders will receive assistance in completing registration and compliance procedures efficiently.

Through these facilitation camps, industrial units at various stages—ranging from development to commercial production—will receive support related to factory registration, No Objection Certificates (NOCs), incentives, subsidies, documentation and other procedural requirements. The initiative will be implemented in coordination with regional managers through a simple, digital and paperless process using a mobile application, enabling real-time information sharing and status updates.
Industrial units that have already received NOCs under the Ground Breaking Ceremony and have commenced commercial production will also be encouraged and assisted in completing factory registration. This will enable them to fully avail benefits, incentives and policy support offered by the state government.

By simplifying factory registration, the initiative is expected to ensure timely and seamless access to government incentives, subsidies and exemptions, reduce procedural hurdles and further improve the Ease of Doing Business in the state. It will also enhance data visibility, ensure transparency and strengthen investor confidence.
In addition to supporting regulatory coordination, the initiative is expected to contribute to employment generation and local economic development, further strengthening Uttar Pradesh’s expanding industrial ecosystem.
This technology-enabled facilitation drive reflects the state government’s commitment to continuous investor support and its vision of positioning Uttar Pradesh as a preferred destination for industrial investment.
