Lucknow — The much-awaited Intra-University Sports Tournament 2025 at Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) concluded with an energetic display of competitive spirit, teamwork, and sporting excellence. The final day witnessed several high-voltage championship matches across multiple disciplines, drawing enthusiastic participation from students and staff alike.
In a thrilling volleyball final, Registrar 11 clinched victory over VC 11, showcasing sharp coordination and powerful court play. The chess finals saw FOAP 11 outsmart FO 11 in a strategic face-off filled with intense, calculated moves. In table tennis, the final match delivered swift rallies and skilled gameplay, culminating in an exciting finish.
Athletics events—featuring 100m and 200m sprints, discus throw, and javelin throw—added to the excitement, with participants giving impressive performances and cheering crowds boosting the energy on the field.
One of the most anticipated contests of the day, the badminton doubles final, was played between CASH 11 and FOAP 11. In a commanding performance, CASH 11 defeated FOAP 11 in straight sets, securing the championship title.

The closing ceremony was graced by Vice-Chancellor Prof. J.P. Pandey, who applauded the participants for their passion and dedication. Also present were Registrar Reena Singh, Finance Officer Keshav Singh, Dean Students’ Welfare Prof. O.P. Singh, Associate Dean Innovation Dr Anuj Kumar Sharma, Dr Manoj Kumar, Assistant Registrar Ranjeet Singh, Assistant Registrar Sunil Pandey, Assistant Registrar Shivam Gupta, and several other faculty members and officials.
The tournament concluded with applause, camaraderie, and a shared sense of achievement, marking another successful chapter in AKTU’s commitment to promoting sports and holistic development.
