International Yoga Day Celebration: A Grand Success

Dehradun: In the divine City of Lord Shiva, nestled in the Lap of the Himalayas, on the Sacred Banks of Mother Ganga’s origin, the 11th International Yoga Day was Celebrated from June 20th to 22nd , 2025 with great fervor at Parmarth Niketan Ashram, Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. The event was graced by the presence of the revered Sri Sri 1008 Chidanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj, who bestowed his blessings upon the gathering.

The celebration was attended by an esteemed group of 27 Ambassadors and 45 Diplomats from 37 countries, showcasing the Global Appeal of Yoga and India’s Rich Cultural Heritage. The event was organized by the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Uttar Pradesh-Uttarakhand (Assocham UP-UK).

This Event was graced by  Chief Minister of Uttarakhand,  Pushkar Singh Dhami, along with his family, participated as Chief Guest in the Closing Ceremony of the Event, demonstrating his commitment to promoting Yoga and Wellness. The Chief Minister’s presence added to the grandeur of the occasion, which was hailed as a resounding success.

The  Chief Minister extended his heartfelt appreciation to Assocham UP-UK for organizing this magnificent event, which has set a new benchmark for cultural and diplomatic engagements in the region. The Chamber’s President, Er. D.P. Singh, was felicitated by the Chief Minister for his outstanding leadership in making this event a grand success.
