Over 2,750 Exhibitors, 343 ODOP Stalls and 150 Startups Lead State’s Strong Presence at Bharat Mandapam
Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh is emerging as one of India’s most dynamic economic powerhouses at the 44th International Trade Fair 2025, being held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, from November 14 to 27. Participating as a Partner State alongside Maharashtra and Rajasthan, the state is showcasing its strength through Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s flagship “Local to Global” mission, aimed at turning local craftsmanship, innovation and entrepreneurship into globally competitive assets.
For this year’s fair, Uttar Pradesh has mobilized an unprecedented participation: over 2,750 exhibitors and 343 dedicated ODOP (One District, One Product) stalls. From Agra’s petha and Bhadohi’s carpets to Banarasi crafts, Firozabad glassware, Kanpur leather goods, Saharanpur woodwork and Meerut’s sports goods—UP’s finest products are positioned before international buyers with modern packaging, digital branding and sustainability-focused presentations.
ODOP Takes Center Stage for Global Buyers
Under the ODOP initiative, the state aims to bring district-specific traditional products into international markets. During the trade fair, UP’s ODOP exhibitors will engage in B2B sessions with global delegations, investors and trade bodies. Products have been showcased keeping in mind the export demands of the US, Europe, the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
This renewed focus on global market access includes:
- Special ODOP Digital Showrooms
- Global Market Access Seminars
- International buyer–seller meets
- Export promotion agreements with embassies and trade councils
Officials say the initiative will significantly expand the export footprint of Uttar Pradesh in high-demand sectors such as handicrafts, handlooms, home decor and processed foods.
Startups & Women Entrepreneurs Lead the State’s New Economic Narrative
The Yogi government has given special priority to youth-led startups and women entrepreneurs. This year, 150+ startups and women-led enterprises from UP are showcasing innovations across sectors including agri-tech, food processing, design, wellness, green technologies and digital services.

These startups are being provided exposure through:
- Live demonstrations
- Investor pitch sessions
- Networking events
- Workshops with global experts
Women entrepreneurs, especially from rural districts, represent the social transformation underway in the state—moving from small-scale local units to global platforms with confidence and competitive products.
A Global Launchpad for UP’s Economic Ambitions
As part of the “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat” vision guided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh aims to establish itself as a global trade hub. The state’s pavilion focuses on innovation, heritage crafts, sustainable development and export-oriented industries.
The Trade Fair also prioritizes collaborations with foreign delegations to support future export partnerships for ODOP products. Digital infrastructure, modern design and tech-driven branding tools further strengthen UP’s position in global commerce.
UP Ready for a Global Leap
Through the International Trade Fair 2025, Uttar Pradesh is not just exhibiting products—it is signaling its readiness to integrate local industries into the global supply chain. The state envisions its rural manufacturing clusters, traditional artisans, women entrepreneurs and new-age startups becoming vital contributors to international markets.
With growing global interest, strategic policy backing and widespread participation, Uttar Pradesh’s “Local to Global” journey is rapidly taking shape—placing the state firmly on the global economic map.
