Lucknow – A vibrant celebration of art and culture unfolded in Lucknow today as Her Excellency Rath Manei, Ambassador of Cambodia, visited the State Lalit Kala Academy, exploring the creative world of local artists and witnessing India’s rich artistic heritage firsthand. The visit underscored the international significance of cultural exchanges.
During the visit, a special art exhibition was organized to welcome the ambassador. She viewed a diverse range of artworks and engaged in discussions with senior visual artists from Uttar Pradesh, exploring various artistic techniques and expressions.
Impressed by the depth and diversity of Indian art, Ambassador Rath Manei praised the exhibition, stating that such initiatives strengthen international cultural dialogue and serve as a bridge for global connections.
The ambassador was briefed on the state’s initiatives to promote art and culture, particularly the efforts led by Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh and Additional Chief Secretary Amrit Abhijat, which provide platforms and support for artists to showcase their work.

The exhibition featured notable works by senior artists, including photographer Anil Risal and watercolorist Anil Sharma, alongside a special series of Mahatma Buddha-themed paintings under the theme “From Awakening to Enlightenment.”
Minister Jaiveer Singh emphasized that such events not only strengthen cultural ties between countries but also give local artists an opportunity for international recognition, opening doors for global collaboration and dialogue.
