Gonda, Uttar Pradesh: To ensure peaceful celebrations and maintain law and order during the festival of colours, the district police carried out extensive security arrangements across Gonda. Superintendent of Police Vineet Jaiswal personally toured several parts of the district to review the security situation and issue necessary instructions to officers and personnel on duty.
During the inspection, the SP assessed security deployments, traffic arrangements, and policing measures put in place to maintain a safe environment during the Holi festivities. He directed officials to remain alert and ensure strict monitoring at sensitive locations, while continuing regular patrols across the district to prevent any untoward incidents.
Extending warm greetings to residents on the occasion of the festival, the police chief appealed to citizens to celebrate Holi in an atmosphere of harmony, brotherhood, and mutual respect. He urged people to avoid any actions that could hurt religious sentiments or disturb public order.
The SP also conveyed his Holi wishes to police personnel deployed on duty and instructed them to perform their responsibilities with vigilance and dedication. Authorities emphasized that continuous patrols and coordinated policing efforts would help maintain peace, safety, and smooth traffic movement throughout the celebrations.
