Lucknow: On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri, an emotional tribute program was organized in the Department of Information and Public Relations. Director of the Department Shishir garlanded the photographs of both the great men and paid tribute to them.
During the program, Gandhiji’s favorite bhajans and Ramdhun were sung live, which made the atmosphere devotional. Director Shishir, while listening to these bhajans with the officers and employees, recalled the ideals and principles of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri. He inspired them to imbibe the message of simplicity, truth and non-violence of these great personalities in their lives.
On this occasion, Finance and Accounts Officer Sanjay Kumar Singh, Joint Director Yashodhan Tiwari, Dinesh Kumar Gupta, Deputy Director Prabhat Shukla, Assistant Director Ram Manohar Tripathi, Satish Chandra Bharti, Jitendra Pratap Singh, Prabhat Srivastava and other senior officers and employees of the department were present.
