LUCKNOW – In a show of solidarity for “Mother India,” hundreds of traders and officials from the All India Udyog Vyapar Mandal and the Uttar Pradesh Yuva Udyog Vyapar Mandal took to the streets of Aminabad today. Led by their national president, Sandeep Bansal, the protest was in response to the 50% additional tariff imposed on Indian products by the American government under President Donald Trump.
A Call for Boycott of American Companies
Addressing the gathering, Sandeep Bansal called for a complete boycott of American companies to deliver a “befitting reply” to Trump’s “dictatorship.” He urged all Indians to use and sell only Indian-made products, emphasizing that the country’s 1.44 billion people grow stronger when challenged. “Trump has provoked us, and we, the sons of Mother India, will show him our strength,” Bansal declared.
He appealed to the public to adopt a “Swadeshi” (indigenous) lifestyle, from daily essentials to food items, and to fulfill the slogan, “We will adopt indigenous, and we will drive out foreign.”

Bansal announced that the campaign would be ongoing and would be a central theme of the organization’s 32nd Foundation Day on September 3rd. Suresh Chhablani, President of the Lucknow chapter, stated that the next march would be held in the Trans Gomti area.
The protest rally commenced from Nazirabad market and proceeded through Prakash Kulfi Chowk, Jhandewala Park, Aminabad, and Maulviganj, concluding at Indira Market. Hundreds of traders, including Suresh Chhablani, Akash Gautam, Anuj Gautam, Ekta Agrawal, and others, participated in the march.
