New Delhi | The Indian Air Force (IAF) is participating in the Singapore Airshow 2026 with its renowned Sarang Helicopter Display Team, flying the indigenously designed and manufactured Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) Dhruv. The participation highlights India’s growing aerospace capabilities and the operational excellence of its indigenous platforms on a major global stage.
The Sarang team, known for its precision flying, close-formation manoeuvres and disciplined execution, is set to demonstrate the agility, versatility and reliability of the ALH Dhruv across a wide range of operational roles. The display reflects the helicopter’s capability in both military and humanitarian missions.

Asia’s premier biennial aerospace and defence exhibition, the Singapore Airshow 2026, is being held at the Changi Exhibition Centre from February 3 to 8, 2026. The event brings together global air forces, aerospace manufacturers, defence industry leaders and aviation stakeholders, providing a platform for showcasing advanced military and civil aviation systems while promoting strategic dialogue and industry partnerships across the Indo-Pacific region.
The airshow will feature aerial displays by the Sarang Helicopter Display Team along with three other international display teams. In addition, a static exhibition of 37 aircraft will offer visitors a close look at a wide array of modern aviation platforms.

Established in 2005, the Sarang Aerobatic Team comprises five ALH Dhruv helicopters. Over the years, the team has represented India at several prestigious international events, including the MAKS International Air Show in Russia (2021), Dubai Air Show (2021 and 2023), and the Bahrain International Air Show (2024), besides previous appearances at the Singapore Airshow in 2024.
Apart from international showcases, the Sarang team regularly performs at major domestic events and has also played a vital role in Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) operations, underlining the dual-use capability of the ALH Dhruv.
The Indian Air Force’s participation at the Singapore Airshow 2026 reinforces India’s commitment to promoting indigenous defence platforms globally and strengthening cooperation within the international aerospace and defence community.
