Moscow: Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin met Indian Ambassador to Russia Vinay Kumar. Galuzin apprised the Indian ambassador about Moscow’s principled position on the Ukraine conflict.
PM Modi visited Ukraine on 23 August
The Russian Embassy in India said in a statement, both sides communicated on international and bilateral issues. The talks were constructive. It is worth noting that the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister has met the Indian Ambassador just a few days after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Ukraine. PM Modi visited Ukraine on 23 August.
PM Modi visited Russia in July
During a bilateral meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, PM Modi stressed on a peaceful resolution of the conflict through dialogue and diplomacy. Earlier in July, PM Modi visited Russia. In a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, he said that the conflict can only be resolved through dialogue and diplomacy.
